Patchy

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

In short

When you join the waitlist we keep your email address and whatever you optionally tell us. We use it to write to you about Patchy. We do not sell it, and we delete it when you ask.

What we collect from the waitlist form

Your email address. It is required, because it is how we contact you.

Your first name, and the answer to “who is it for?”. Both are optional, and you can leave them blank.

The date you joined. That is everything the form gives us.

What we do not collect here

There is no payment on this site and no account to make, so we hold no card details, no passwords and no addresses. We do not ask for a phone number.

Why we keep it

To send you updates while Patchy is being built, to tell you when prototypes are working and when preorders open, and to answer a reply you send us. Nothing else.

Your handwriting

The site does not collect handwriting today. When Patchy ships, the sample you give it stays inside your own account: it is not shared, not sold and not used to train anything public, and it is deleted when you ask us to.

Patchy is built never to copy signatures, so your handwriting is never used to produce one.

Cookies and tracking

This page does not use advertising cookies, and it does not run trackers that follow you to other sites. As with any website, the service that hosts it keeps basic technical logs of requests. If we ever add analytics or advertising pixels, this page is rewritten first.

Who can see the list

The people running Patchy, and the companies that host the site and store the list for us. The address is never sold or rented, and it is not handed to advertisers.

Your choices

Email hello@meetpatchy.com and we will remove your address, or send you a copy of what we hold, usually within a few days.

Every email we send from this project carries a way to unsubscribe, so you can also stop updates with one click.

Keeping it safe

The waitlist is stored on hosted database servers with access limited to this project, and the public site cannot read the list. Nothing on the page lets a visitor see who else joined.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly collect more than what is written here.
